Kansas Hosting LLC acquires Ownership of Wichita Data Centers LLC

Wichita, Ks. (March 30, 2012) – Kansas Hosting has just completed the acquisition of Web Net Broadband’s ownership in their jointly owned company, Wichita Data Centers located in Wichita, Kansas. The two companies formed a partnership in January of 2005 to provide facilities and services for remote access, co-location and backup servers for data storage and hosting of applications, websites, email, Ecommerce, and online merchant accounts. Wichita Data Centers also provides hardware and software reseller services, VoIP (Voice over Internet Protocol) telephone systems, and ISP (Internet Services Provider). A full range of network support and consulting services are also offered by the company.

The acquisition of Wichita Data Centers will enable Kansas Hosting to consolidate operations and implement plans to expand their ISP, Network, and VoIP Phone services for the Wichita Metro area. Kansas Hosting will be adding a certified Cisco Network Engineer to support Cisco customers in Wichita, and eventually to surrounding communities. At this time Kansas Hosting and Wichita Data Centers have no plans to relocate their businesses.

Kansas Hosting was founded in 2002 in the Sutton Place Building at 209 E. William in Wichita, Kansas by Jeremiah Connelly and a staff of 2 network engineers. Connelly saw there was an opportunity to provide options for internet, VoIP phone service and data storage services to occupants of the Sutton Place building and to nearby downtown businesses. In 2005 Kansas Hosting partnered with Webnet Broadband to form Wichita Data Centers to build an independent Data Facility in Downtown, Wichita.
